Tree of Life Table (36")

This is a 36" table top called “The Tree of Life”. Water flows from the tree to sustain all life. The Tree of Life has several feminine symbols in it and represents Mother Nature. An apple hangs from one of the branches. I have always regarded the apple as a sign of wisdom and what kind of world would we live in without wisdom? On glass tiles beneath the tree the glass is etched to say “The Tree of Knowledge is the Tree of Life”. I like to put personal objects in my mosaics. Along the river are some small bits of stones gathered on a recent anniversary trip to Mendocino.
