Alcanza

When I returned from Barcelona this summer, I knew I wanted to do an abstract. After driving to Oklahoma, I knew it had to be a sculpture. And, thanks to people I met through SAMA (Society of American Mosaic Artists), I got the amazing reflective glass and millefiore that I used in Alcanza. One of the amazing things about this piece is that it seems to grow as it is rotated.

Alcanza was on display in a juried show at the Los Gatos Art Museum, Tait & Main, Los Gatos, CA in November and December, 2008.
